Nvidia’s AI Chip Delivery Delayed, Affecting Major Customers

Nvidia’s upcoming AI chip delivery has been delayed due to design flaws, according to The Information and Bloomberg. The delay, potentially lasting at least three months, will impact customers like Meta, Google, and Microsoft. Nvidia has informed Microsoft about the delay in the Blackwell series AI chips, which may not be shipped in large quantities until the first quarter of 2025. Although Nvidia declined to comment on the delay, a spokesperson mentioned that production is expected to increase later this year.
